The Board of Trustees of the Stanford Free Library is pleased to announce the appointment of Christa Cerul as the new Director of the Stanford Free Library. The current Director, Arlene Christensen, who has helped bring the library to where it is today, retired after 25 years, effective December 1, 2019. She will continue to work, part-time, at the library.
If you have been in the library anytime in the past 15 years, you already know Christa. She is the friendly face behind the Circulation Desk. She has worked alongside Arlene for many years, knows how the library works inside and out, and will continue the amazing work that Arlene has done as Director.
